Description The Business Development officer is a sales position principally responsible for achieving sales targets by generating new sales and growing the company’s share of its portfolio within the key market segments. The primary objective is to build and establish strong lasting relationships to generate new revenue to the organization. The Business Development officer is expected to uncover and close opportunities using various marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
Generating new business and meeting sales targets
Develop various marketing strategies as per customer segments and needs.
Analyzing EOI, prequalification’s and tenders as advertised by potential clients.
Preparing and submitting EOI, prequalification’s and tenders accurately and in a timely manner
Develop marketing communication materials
Identify and implement various marketing activities that will lead to new clients
Develop appropriate marketing communication to address the intended purpose.
Conduct market research on current trends in the industry, clients desired needs and develop strategies for fulfilling those needs.
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media handles.
Skills Required
Digital marketing skills (ability to develop content and run digital campaigns)
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
Technical skills required to respond to tenders, quotations and find solutions to meet client requirements.
Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
Be proactive, organized and handle to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field.
KCSE GRADE C and above
Experience
About 3 years of proven sales experience in business or a related area.
Experience in B2B and marketing to executives.
